Ok, so let’s talk predominately children oriented museum food. The new Greens & Grains salad bar is everything! So many choices for gluten-free and vegetarian as well. Dedicated staff that clearly cares. You have a bit of everything… Healthy options available, fresh fruit salad, also Burgers, Chicken nuggets with fries, Asian inspired dishes, etc… Best Yogurt Parfait and Chia Seed Pudding! Plus… Let’s not forget the view!

Went on a family outing to the MOS and fell in love with it! So wonderful! And that cafeteria is just top notch. Me and the kids particularly loved the maho tacos and the plantains with fries. Surprisingly good for picky eaters! All glowing reviews, except from my meemaw, she said everything tasted like soap. Don't trust meemaw, she always has something to say. And has been known to eat soap (thankfully, the museum bathrooms were very clean). I think the museum uses some form of bulk antibacterial Softsoap®, judging by what meemaw ate when she used the can. I will be back and hope to have these items again, however I will be leaving meemaw and her ramshackle opinions at home. I don't need to hear how she could have won the Battle of Little Big Horn with nothing but a pack of Marlboros and a Hoodsie Cup spoon!!!

The yuca fries and plantains I had with the mahi mahi tacos on Monday were out of this world! Only 4 stars though because the redhead who made my tacos didn't give me extra guac when I asked for it and there were so many screaming children, terrible atmosphere.

Wow. This place makes other museum cafes look pretty bad. The food is legitimately good. Like, would go to eat here even if I wasn't visiting the museum good. Prices are reasonable, which was a total shock. And, you can sit where you have a beautiful view of the river. Surprisingly wonderful experience when we needed something to eat when visiting the museum.
